This weekend, Live 105 is hosting a Labor Day 2K Weekend where they play nothing but songs from the new millennium. It's not strictly the '00s but anything from the last 15 years. Given that the period I used to transcribe these playlists fell within this timeframe, I figured that would make good fodder for this blog (especially since this kind of stuff disappears from the Internet quickly these days). I'm not going to list every song that was played this weekend, so I'll just give periodic updates of what was played during a specific hour, as well as some of the more interesting tracks played that day (usually songs I haven't heard on the station in a while).
Songs played in the 8 p.m. hour:
Kings of Leon- Sex on Fire
Cherub- Doses and Mimosas
System of a Down- Toxicity
Atlas Genius- Trojans
Foster the People- Don't Stop (Color on the Walls)
M83- Midnight City
The Neighbourhood- Sweater Weather
Foo Fighters- All My Life
