BONUS: Live 105's Labor Day 2K Weekend, Day 1

This weekend, Live 105 is hosting a Labor Day 2K Weekend where they play nothing but songs from the new millennium. It's not strictly the '00s but anything from the last 15 years. Given that the period I used to transcribe these playlists fell within this timeframe, I figured that would make good fodder for this blog (especially since this kind of stuff disappears from the Internet quickly these days). I'm not going to list every song that was played this weekend, so I'll just give periodic updates of what was played during a specific hour, as well as some of the more interesting tracks played that day (usually songs I haven't heard on the station in a while).

Songs played in the 8 p.m. hour:

Kings of Leon- Sex on Fire

Cherub- Doses and Mimosas

System of a Down- Toxicity

Atlas Genius- Trojans

Foster the People- Don't Stop (Color on the Walls)

M83- Midnight City

The Neighbourhood- Sweater Weather

Foo Fighters- All My Life

Twenty One Pilots- Stressed Out

Paramore- Misery Business

OTHER SONGS PLAYED THROUGHOUT THE DAY:

The Hives- Hate to Say I Told You So

System of a Down- Aerials

Arcade Fire- Wake Up

Yeah Yeah Yeahs- Gold Lion

Killers- Smile Like You Mean it

M.I.A.- Paper Planes

Arctic Monkeys- I Bet You Look Good on the Dance Floor

The Bravery- An Honest Mistake

No Doubt- It's My Life
