Live 105 11 O'Clock Rewind playlist December 9, 2002
Now here's a blast from the past (found via Archive.org).
11 O'Clock Rewind was a show that aired directly after Howard Stern from 2002 to 2003. It was hosted by former Music Director Steve Masters, who had just returned to Live 105. It was basically a playlist of classic alternative songs, and at times it could get pretty adventurous. Eventually, 11 O'Clock Rewind gave way to Rewind@Noon-- hosted by Ally and then-program Director Sean Demery-- which then gave way to '90s at Noon and Resurrection Sunday. Nowadays, I don't think the station is doing any kind of classic alternative specialty show, save for an occasional themed weekend.
Anyway, here's the playlist for December 9, 2002. I'll have more of these later.
1. The Clash- Clampdown
2. Ministry- NWO
3. Everclear- Heroin Girl
4. No Use for a Name- Soulmate
5. Camper van Beethoven- Pictures of Matchstick Men
6. Pulp- Do You Remember the First Time?
7. Soup Dragons- I'm Free
8. Special AKA- Gangsters
9. Nine Inch Nails- Head Like a Hole
10. R.E.M.- It's the End of the World as We Know it (and I Feel Fine)
11. Burning Sensations- Belly of the Whale
12. U2- Desire
13. Adorable- Sunshine Smile
14. Shaggy- Oh Carolina
15. Dramarama- Anything Anything
16. Siouxsie & the Banshees- This Wheel's on Fire
17. Meat Puppets- Backwater
