BONUS: Live 105 playlist April 9, 2001

I found this in the Tuned In feature from an old Radio & Records magazine. I guess they tracked the station at certain hours of the day and posted what songs they played. BONUS: Live 105's Top 105 Bands We're Thankful For (from Thanksgiving 2005)

It's not at all surprising that Live 105 would run a countdown on the Thanksgiving holiday. What is surprising is the selections. In this period, Live 105 would have specialty weekends where they'd play  a bunch of artists that weren't alternative but were still wildly influential and weaved them in with their usual offerings.

I remember this being fun to listen to. Each selection was preceded by prerecorded statements from the DJs talking about how important all the artists were. If you ever wanted to hear The Beatles, Marvin Gaye or Led Zeppelin on Live 105...you'll probably want to look at this list because it will likely never happen again.
