I was going to make another blog for this, but I figured it ties in closely enough with this blog's theme: invoking memories of relatively recent nostalgia (which is becoming less recent as time goes on).
You see, recently I came across a Comedy Central commercial break from 2005 on YouTube, and instantly some memories came flowing back. I watched a lot of Comedy Central during that time, probably even that specific commercial break. The most striking thing about it is seeing how the world was different only 10 years ago: what was big at the time, what we thought was going to be big, etc. Like commercials from any bygone era, it's fun to look back at these and laugh. Therefore, I'm going to comment on every commercial I see in these videos. I'll still make time to post old radio playlists, but I think this may be more fun. Let's hop into the Wayback Machine and go back to the summer of 2005.
