2005 according to Comedy Central (Part 3)

1. Reno 911- This spot tells you everything you need to know about the show.

2. Castrol GTX- Same ad as before.

3. Applebee's- This is an ad for their Irresist-A-Bowls. Get it, like irresistible? They highlight this by doing a parody of Robert Palmer's "Simply Irresistible." The ads probably make them look better than they are. I've never been to Applebee's, so I can't say.

4. Snickers- This ad features a bunch of hunters throwing Snickers bars at a deer. Such a horrible waste of candy.

5. Ritz Chips- I just had these a few weeks ago. They're not too bad. This ad's pretty short. Apparently all you need are line drawings to bring attention to your product.

6. Kraft Ranch- Oh god, I thought I had this ad eradicated from my memory, but that "Pow! Right in the kisser" line instantly brought me back. By the way, I know that kisser is another term for mouth, but when I hear the phrase "right in the kisser," I think of Ralph Kramden threatening to beat his wife.  Was cartoonish domestic violence the association these jingle writers wanted to bring up? Because that's what I'm thinking here.

7. Stella- Another goddamn promo for this show. It's not even a very good one. They're just standing in front of a cloud backdrop while looking at the camera. Did they think that was enough to sell the show? I guess it worked since the show went on to last *looks it up* exactly two months. Nice of you to bet on a winner, Comedy Central.
